The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it deems “unjustified” visa bans imposed by the United States against five European individuals involved in fighting online hate and disinformation, a European Commission spokesperson stated.
European Leaders Decry US Move as ‘Intimidation’
European leaders such as Emmanuel Macron charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the visa restrictions targeted individuals who have been at the heart of campaigns to introduce laws regulating US-based technology firms.
